Even with a temporary rebound in equity markets, analysts warn that yields are likely to remain elevated as damage to energy infrastructure in the Gulf keeps prices high.
"Clearly, that increase in yields is a negative for public finances in Europe," said Max Kitson, European rates strategist at BARCLAYS PLC.
