Ridgeview offers 545 million pounds for Pinewood Tech

U.S. private equity firm Ridgeview has offered to acquire British automotive software provider Pinewood Technologies for 448 pence per share. The deal represents a 42 percent premium over the current closing price and follows a previous unsuccessful bid from Apax Partners earlier this year.
