India Gold Share in Forex Reserves Rises to 16.7 Percent
The Reserve Bank of India reported that gold now accounts for 16.7 percent of total reserves. Over two-thirds of the 880.52 tonnes are now held domestically.

This share rose from 13.92% in late September, even as total foreign exchange reserves saw a slight decline.
