Democratic Representative Chris Pappas called for bipartisan congressional efforts to reduce the national debt. Speaking in Greenland, he emphasized the need for fiscal responsibility and economic stability.

Democratic U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas called for a bipartisan congressional push to tackle the national debt, which is nearing the $41.1 trillion ceiling, during an address to the Portsmouth Rotary Club on October 22. The New Hampshire Senate hopeful warned that the United States risks losing its status as a world power without immediate fiscal discipline.
