PROCTER & GAMBLE CO recovered $100M in tariffs paid under the United States administration, per its annual report released late last month. The refund follows a Supreme Court ruling invalidating emergency presidential powers used to levy the import taxes. The consumer goods giant initially estimated trade wars would cost up to $1.5B annually before scaling projections down to $500M.
