Reno Crowd Gathers for Anti-Trump Rally
A passionate crowd rallied in Reno for the No Kings event to encourage early voting and express opposition to Donald Trump. Participants included local immigrants and veterans sharing concerns over policies.
About 2,700 demonstrators gathered in downtown Reno on Saturday afternoon for a "No Kings" protest, down sharply from the 21,000 attendees recorded at last year's event. The demonstration coincided with the opening of early voting across the United States state of Nevada. Organizers framed the gathering around early voting participation rather than direct political opposition.
