Orange raises annual profit growth target to over 4 percent

French telecoms group Orange increased its annual core profit growth forecast to more than 4 percent following strong half-year revenue of 20.95 billion euros. Performance was driven by growth in Africa and the Middle East while net debt rose due to the acquisition of the MasOrange venture.
