Oil prices rise following fresh US strikes on Iran
Brent crude futures rose 1% to $78.8 a barrel on Thursday after the U.S. military launched new strikes against Iran. The escalation follows the collapse of an interim peace agreement and has prompted war underwriters to advise shipping companies to pause voyages through the Strait of Hormuz.
