Norway's sovereign wealth fund ethics watchdog chief Svein Richard Brandtzaeg threatened to resign on Wednesday morning if a restructuring proposal weakens the council's authority. The $2.3 trillion fund is the world's largest investor, holding stakes in more than 7,000 companies globally. The potential departure threatens the governance stability of a fund that controls 1.5% of all globally listed shares.
