Meta expands Louisiana data center to 5 gigawatts
Meta announced the expansion of its Hyperion data center in Louisiana to 5 gigawatts of compute capacity to support large language model training. The company total investment in the project has surpassed 50 billion dollars with over 1 billion dollars committed to local infrastructure.
