Local Food Group will take over management of the Sunnyside Restaurant & Lodge in Lake Tahoe, partnering on a $5 million renovation that led to 47 layoffs. The historic property in the United States closed on October 4 for extensive guest room and dining room upgrades. The project marks the latest venture for founder Mark Estee, whose hospitality portfolio includes seven regional dining establishments.
