Malteurop Acquires Chunlei Malting in China
French malt producer Malteurop acquired Chunlei Malting to expand its footprint in China. The deal adds a second production site with an annual capacity of 220000 tons.
France-based malt producer Malteurop acquired Chunlei Malting Co to expand its annual production capacity in China by 220,000 metric tons. The deal gives Malteurop a second production site in the region alongside its Baoding plant established 30 years ago. The expansion strengthens Malteurop's position in one of the world's largest malt-exporting markets.
