Malaysian firm reNIKOLA announced that its unit signed a thirty-year power purchase agreement for a solar project in Sarawak. The facility will require about one billion ringgit in investment and generate up to two hundred fifty megawatts for the grid.
Malaysia's reNIKOLA unit signed a 30-year power purchase agreement with Syarikat Sesco for a solar project in Sarawak, requiring an investment of 1B ringgit ($245M). The initiative expands regional renewable capacity on Borneo island. Investors are monitoring utility-scale solar buildouts as state governments push for clean energy transition.
