Lindt 2025 Profit Rises Ten Percent on Higher Prices
Lindt reported 2025 operating profit of 971 million francs as price hikes offset cocoa costs. The firm also launched a billion franc share buyback.
The premium chocolatier Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Sprüngli AG, headquartered in Switzerland, reported a 10% increase in its 2025 operating profit on Tuesday. The company successfully navigated a period of intense price volatility by passing higher raw material costs directly to its consumer base.
Operating profit reached 971 million Swiss francs ($1.25 billion), surpassing the average analyst forecast of 968.9 million francs. This financial performance was supported by a 12.4% organic sales rise, which was significantly bolstered by a 19% increase in selling prices designed to mitigate the impact of record-high cocoa prices seen over the past two years.
