The state-run National Oil Corporation (NOC) of Libya has announced three significant new discoveries of Brent Crude Oil and Natural Gas in partnership with major energy companies from Italy, Spain, and Algeria.
The first discovery was made in the Ghadames oil basin, situated in northwestern Libya near the border. Working with a production subsidiary and the Algerian state-owned firm Sonatrach, the NOC reported production rates of 13 million cubic feet of gas and 327 barrels of condensates daily.
