Keurig Dr Pepper has appointed former Kimberly-Clark executive Russ Torres as chief executive officer of its upcoming publicly traded coffee business. Torres will assume the role on November 3 to lead the integration of global coffee operations.

KEURIG DR PEPPER INC named KIMBERLY-CLARK CORP executive Russ Torres as CEO of its coffee business on Thursday morning. The coffee unit will operate as an independent, publicly traded company early next year. The appointment follows the departure of former head Rafael Oliveira, who left to join HEINEKEN NV earlier this year.
