Kenya extends fuel tax cut and subsidy for three months
The Kenyan government is maintaining a reduced 8% VAT on petroleum products through mid-October to protect households from global price volatility. Energy Minister Opiyo Wandayi also announced a 945 million shilling subsidy to sustain current fuel prices.
