JUBILANT FOODWORKS LTD grew fourth-quarter profit 66.2% to 797.9 million rupees as Domino's pizza demand and store expansions offset rising competition. The India-based operator added 69 stores, bringing its total count to 3,636 locations for the quarter ended March 31. Investors are weighing volume growth against margin pressure as QSR chains deploy aggressive discounts to capture cautious consumer spending.
Consolidated revenue rose 19.3% to 24.99 billion rupees during the quarter. Jubilant attributed the gain to higher order volumes and its expanded footprint. Delivery order volumes for Domino's grew in the high teens.
