Japan will channel proceeds from increased central bank ETF sales into economic security and growth areas, Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi said. The administration is seeking alternative non-tax revenues to finance large-scale fiscal plans without expanding debt issuance. Additional proceeds from the ETF sales reflect economic growth, making reinvestment in crisis management appropriate, Takaichi told parliament on Friday morning.
