Japan Opens Market to Argentine Beef
Japan has opened its market to Argentine beef following a twenty year ban. Argentina and Japan reached the agreement after establishing new sanitary requirements for meat imports.

Japan has opened its market to beef imports from Argentina for the first time in 20 years, economy minister Luis Caputo said on Wednesday morning. The reopening follows a two-decade ban rooted in sanitary restrictions and regional agricultural policy. The access creates a new export channel for South American agricultural producers entering Asian consumer markets.
