Italo signs 3 billion euro train deal with Siemens
Italian rail operator Italo Holding has signed a contract with Siemens Mobility to purchase 26 high-speed trains for its planned 2028 entry into Germany. The 3.6 billion euro investment includes a 30-year maintenance agreement and aims to create 2,500 jobs across two major German transit corridors.
