Chiesi Group to Acquire KalVista for 1.9 Billion Dollars

Chiesi Group will acquire KALVISTA PHARMACEUTICALS INC for $1.9 billion in an all-cash deal announced late morning Wednesday. The $27.00 per share offer represents a 36% premium over the 30-day volume-weighted average price. This acquisition, the largest in Chiesi's history, targets a 67% revenue increase to €6 billion by 2030.
Chiesi Group, based in Italy, will launch a tender offer for all outstanding KalVista shares. The boards of both companies unanimously approved the transaction on Tuesday.
