Intel uses advanced ASML tools for Panther Lake chips
Intel has begun using ASML's high numerical aperture extreme ultraviolet machines to manufacture portions of its flagship Panther Lake processors. The high-end equipment helps optimize the 18A manufacturing process while allowing both companies to collect critical data on the 400 million dollar tools.
