Shenzhen-based ARASHI VISION INC-A, the manufacturer of the Insta360 camera line, announced on Friday that it will continue to import and sell its products in the United States without restrictions following a final ruling by the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC). The company, headquartered in China, confirmed that the conclusion of the investigation has not resulted in any substantial impact on its production or business operations. The legal dispute began in 2024 when California-based GoPro, Inc. filed a complaint alleging that Arashi Vision had violated patents related to its cameras, systems, and accessories. GoPro claimed that the importation of similar products into the American market infringed upon its intellectual property rights. In response to these allegations, the USITC initiated an investigation under Section 337 of the Trade Act of 1930, focusing on Arashi Vision and its American subsidiary. The final ruling, published on Thursday, effectively concludes the probe that had been monitoring the company's trade activities. In a regulatory filing to the Shanghai stock exchange, the company stated: > The probe has concluded and has caused no substantial impact on the company's production and operations.
