High domestic prices and a $20 per ton premium over global rivals will likely restrict sales to urgent buyers.
### Logistics and Geopolitical Friction ITC LTD began loading the grain at Kandla port for delivery to the United Arab Emirates, people familiar with the matter said. The deal was signed at $275 per ton free on board. While India is the world's largest producer of the grain after China, it had restricted overseas sales since 2022 to protect domestic supply.
