India restricts retail fuel sales for ninety days

The Indian government has restricted commercial customers from buying motor spirit and high-speed diesel at retail outlets for up to ninety days. Retail dealers are now prohibited from selling more than 200 litres of diesel to a single customer per day to ensure supply stability.
