Impulse Space reaches 4.26 billion dollar valuation
The startup founded by former SpaceX engineer Tom Mueller secured 500 million dollars in a Series D funding round to expand its orbital transfer vehicle business. The capital will support the development of spacecraft designed to move satellites between orbits as commercial space infrastructure demand grows.
Impulse Space raised $500 million in a Series D funding round on Tuesday to expand its orbital logistics services. The capital injection values the startup at $4.26 billion, more than doubling its previous valuation. This funding ensures the startup can scale production of transfer vehicles as investor demand shifts from launch rockets toward in-space infrastructure.
