As the largest manufacturer of flat rolled products by market share in IN, Hindalco Industries Limitedaims to address a critical supply gap. Currently, approximately 40% of flat-rolled Aluminiumis imported into the country. The new expansion is expected to nearly halve this dependency, bringing imports down to approximately 20%. This strategic move aligns with the push from New Delhi toward greater local manufacturing and domestic self-reliance.
