Goodyear to Close North Carolina Plant and Cut 1750 Jobs
The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company will shutter its Fayetteville facility by late 2027 to improve operating income by 270 million dollars annually. The move follows a second quarter net loss of 204 million dollars as the manufacturer faces rising core inflation and higher raw material costs.
