Ghana Inflation Rises to 5.2 Percent
Ghanaian consumer inflation accelerated for the second consecutive month in September to reach 5.2 percent year-on-year. Non-food inflation remained the primary driver of the increase, outpacing food price growth.

Ghana's consumer inflation quickened to 5.2% year-on-year in September, rising for the second consecutive month from 5.0% previously, official data showed Wednesday morning. The uptick follows a drop in July, though the rate has nearly halved over the past year. The persistent domestic price pressures complicate the central bank's monetary policy path as officials look toward their target band.
