Germany's manufacturing sector expanded solidly in October as rising export sales and government-linked demand lifted output, according to S&P Global survey data published on Monday. The headline PMI rose to 54.2 from 53.9 in September, remaining well above the 50 threshold separating growth from contraction. The steady expansion highlights industrial resilience despite mounting input costs and delivery delays, S&P Global Market Intelligence Economics Associate Director Phil Smith said.
