Gabler shares fall below offer price in Frankfurt debut

Shares of the submarine systems manufacturer Gabler Group experienced a volatile debut on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Wednesday, ultimately dipping below their initial offering price. After an early surge, the stock fell to 43.6 euros ($50.47) by 1349 GMT, representing a decline from the 44-euro offer price.
The company, which is based in Luebeck, Germany, had reached a session high of 49.1 euros before the downward trend took hold. Gabler Group specializes in the production of hydraulic and electrical mast systems designed for submarines. At its final offer price, the firm was valued at approximately 266 million euros.
