French department store BHV expands Shein partnership to five more cities

French retailer BHV will launch Shein physical spaces in five additional cities starting tomorrow. The move follows a successful Paris pilot despite criticism.

The French department store chain BHV, which is owned by Societe des Grands Magasins (SGM), has announced the opening of Shein physical shops across five cities in France FRFR on February 25. This expansion will see the retailer establish a presence in Angers, Dijon, Grenoble, Limoges, and Reims. The move marks a significant shift in the retail landscape as the companies transition from an online-only model to a multi-city physical rollout.
