France's consumer confidence fell 5 points to 80 in October, reaching its lowest level since June 2013 during widespread protests. The reading missed the 85 consensus forecast from a Reuters survey and sits well below the 100 long-term average. The drop signals mounting pressure on household spending as economic discontent deepens across the country.
