France opposes EU approval of Tesla FSD software

France has rejected a Dutch-led initiative to approve Tesla's Full Self-Driving software across the European Union, citing risks related to speeding and driver inattention. While several nations have granted provisional approval, French officials maintain that current safety tradeoffs are insufficient.
