Foreign investment in Indian index-linked bonds has fallen to a four-month low following consecutive months of net outflows. Higher crude prices and rising US Treasury yields have dampened foreign demand.

Foreign exposure to India's index-eligible bonds fell to a four-month low, with overseas investors selling a net 52 billion rupees ($546.3 million) in October. The outflow comes amid rising global yields and domestic rate uncertainty. The shift tests foreign demand for local debt after record inflows earlier this year.
