Stephen Miran will resign from the Federal Reserve Board on or just before Kevin Warsh is sworn in as the next chair. The move clears a necessary seat on the seven-member board for Warsh following his Senate confirmation this week. Warsh's nomination resolves a structural requirement: Miran's term technically expired in January, but the board remained at full capacity.
