Germany is urging the European Commission to secure access to Anthropic's Mythos AI model to protect the region's financial infrastructure from cyberattacks. Bundesbank chief supervisor Michael Theurer said European banks require the technology to identify code vulnerabilities currently detectable by the model. The tool is currently available only to a select group of banks in the United States.
