Engie lifts 2026 profit targets to 5.2 billion euros
French utility Engie raised its 2026 net recurring income target to 5.2 billion euros. The group also expects EBIT to reach up to 9.7 billion euros by 2026.
The major utility provider Engie S.A.[Symbol:{ "assets":{ "symbol":"ENGIY" } }], headquartered in France[Country:{ "assets":{ "country":"FR" } }], has officially raised its financial targets for the 2026-2028 period. The company, which maintains a diverse portfolio in the production, trading, and distribution of electricity and gas, updated its outlook during a medium-term strategy session on Wednesday.

According to the revised projections, the group expects to achieve a net recurring income group share ranging from 4.6 billion to 5.2 billion euros in 2026. This forecast marks an improvement over the previous guidance provided in the 2025 strategic update, which had estimated a range between 4.2 billion and 4.8 billion euros.
Furthermore, the utility group indicated that its earnings before interest and tax (EBIT), excluding the nuclear segment, are projected to reach between 8.7 billion and 9.7 billion euros for the 2026 fiscal year. The adjustment reflects the company's evolving operational strategy as it navigates the global energy market.
