Poland and Foxconn to Build EV Manufacturing Hub
ElectroMobility Poland is partnering with Taiwan's Foxconn to develop an electric vehicle production and research hub in Jaworzno. The project aims to launch production in 2029 with an initial capacity of 100,000 cars per year to serve the European market.
ElectroMobility Poland will partner with Foxconn Technology Co Ltd to build an electric vehicle hub targeting an initial 100,000-unit annual capacity. The project aims to establish a domestic brand in Poland as European battery EV sales rose 33% in the first quarter. The deal secures technology transfers and positions the region as a primary distribution center for the European market.
EMP is negotiating the scope of cooperation with Foxconn and its subsidiary Foxtron Vehicle Technologies, the state-backed company said Thursday. The parties aim to sign binding agreements during the second half of 2026. This partnership may include the formation of a joint venture to manage the production and research hub.
