Isabel Schnabel, a member of the European Central Bank (ECB) executive board, stated that the central bank is currently in a "relatively favorable" position regarding its monetary policy. Speaking at a panel hosted by the Institute of International Finance in the United States, Schnabel highlighted that the ECB successfully managed to bring inflation down to the 2% target before the onset of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
