Databricks Eyes New Funding at 175 Billion Valuation
The data analytics software firm is reportedly in talks to raise new capital that could value the company between 165 billion and 175 billion dollars. This potential round follows a 5 billion dollar fundraising earlier this year and comes as CEO Ali Ghodsi signals plans for a possible IPO in 2027.
Databricks is discussing a new funding round that could value the data firm between $165 billion and $175 billion. The valuation represents a jump from the $134 billion level reached during a $5 billion raise earlier this year. Investors are paying high premiums for AI infrastructure as competitors OpenAI and Anthropic move toward public listings.
The fundraising round is expected to begin in July, people familiar with the matter told The Information. This capital injection follows a period of rapid growth for Databricks. Databricks helps users build artificial intelligence applications by analyzing complex data from multiple sources.
