DAIMLER TRUCK HOLDING AG posted a 73% jump in third-quarter profit, reaching €1.12 billion ($1.25 billion) on Friday. The results surpassed the €1.10 billion consensus forecast, driven by strong operational recovery in key regions. Weaker order intake and margin questions in the United States sent shares down 8.3% during morning trading.
