Corporate CFOs lift inflation outlook and raise rate fears
A new Federal Reserve survey shows company chief financial officers expect higher inflation this year and next. Finance chiefs also cite rising interest rates as a top concern as borrowing costs increase.

Corporate finance chiefs in the United States expect to raise prices 5.3% this year, up from 4.6% in the second quarter. The upward revision follows a new quarterly survey of around 500 firms conducted ahead of recent central bank rate hikes. Monetary policy has replaced inflation as the top concern for executives navigating persistent price pressures.
