CITIGROUP INC hired Joe Gulash from Keefe, Bruyette & Woods to lead its global bank coverage within the financial institutions investment banking division. Gulash will join the New York-based lender in August. The appointment was announced in an internal memo on May 18 by David Friedland and Jens Welter, co-heads of North America investment banking.
Gulash will serve as Head of Banks, overseeing the firm's global strategy for the financial institutions sector. His expertise comes from KBW, a firm specializing in financial services advisory.
