China September solar exports fall
China reports a 6.4 percent drop in September solar equipment exports compared to last year. Total shipments reached 1.21 million metric tons valued at 3.34 billion dollars, according to customs data.
China exported 1.21 million metric tons of solar equipment in September, marking a 6.4% decline from the same month last year per customs data released Sunday morning. The drop extends a broader slump for the world's largest solar manufacturer, though outbound shipments rebounded from 840,000 tons in August. Total export volume for the year through September fell 9.5% to 9.37 million tons.
