China could challenge Brazil in key poultry markets within a decade after turning into a net exporter in 2025, Rabobank said on a Thursday morning briefing. The shift comes as surging domestic production creates exportable surpluses of cuts like breast meat that local consumers rarely eat. The rise of Beijing as a poultry competitor threatens established export channels in the Middle East and Africa.
