PBOC Increases Gold Reserves for 17th Consecutive Month
The People's Bank of China increased gold holdings to 74.38 million ounces in March. While buying continued, total reserve value fell as gold prices declined.

The central bank of China has maintained its streak of Gold acquisitions for the 17th month in a row, according to official data released on Tuesday. The People's Bank of China (PBOC) reported that its holdings of the precious metal reached 74.38 million fine troy ounces by the end of March, up from 74.22 million ounces recorded at the end of February.
