China and Europe Must Avoid Trade Wars
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told his German counterpart that China and Europe must avoid trade wars and resolve concerns through dialogue. Both sides agreed on the need for fair rules in a stable global economy during a phone call.
China urged Germany on Tuesday morning to reject protectionism and oppose trade wars. The appeal comes as European officials voice growing concerns over industrial overcapacity. Both nations reaffirmed commitments to fair trade rules during bilateral talks.
