Capgemini shares slide on new AI growth and profit goals

CAPGEMINI SE shares fell 4% on May 27 after the firm set a 7.5% upper limit for annual revenue growth through 2028. The French IT group was the worst performer on the AMUNDI CAC 40 during the morning session. Investors are weighing Capgemini's ability to monetize AI consulting against a crowded field of established and niche competitors.
### AI Consulting Targets Fail to Spark Rally Capgemini aims for average yearly revenue growth between 5.5% and 7.5% from 2025 to 2028. The group also targets cumulative organic free cash flow exceeding €6 billion (approximately $7 billion) between 2026 and 2028. Operating profit margins are projected to reach 12.1% to 12.3% by the end of the period.
